President Barack Obama used to consider it a slur to call the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (2010) "Obamacare." He recently decided, though, to embrace the term. Some pundits believe he had little choice because the term has become so widely used.

Mitt Romney's endorsement list keeps growing longer by the day and now he's added two names that will most certainly move to the top of the list – former President George H.W. Bush and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

A new poll from Gallup reveals that although "state culture" influences one's religiosity, America is still, overall, a religious nation. In addition, the survey found that among all states, Mississippi is the most religious, while Vermont and New Hampshire rank as the least religious.

A church-state watchdog group has spoken out against a road improvement program being reviewed by the Kentucky State Legislature due to it being connected to the construction of a Bible-themed amusement park.

Mark Driscoll Steps Down as Leader of Acts 29; Resigns From Gospel Coalition

Acts 29 Network cofounder Pastor Mark Driscoll has stepped down from the reins of the successful global church planting organization to make room for Pastor Matt Chandler as president, it was announced Wednesday.

The "Hour of Power," Crystal Cathedral's landmark television program, will air its first new episode Sunday under new leadership, after the church's founding family, the Schullers, quit the ministry. However, in some markets, the long-running program will be cut to just half an hour.

I am Second, the Texas-based ministry that has garnered recognition for its videos of celebrity testimonies, is teaming up with Reunion Church to host an event that will bring hope to the people of downtown Dallas during Holy Week.

A candidate to succeed influential pastor John Piper at Bethlehem Baptist Church was announced by the church's elders Tuesday. Piper said he is "overjoyed" at the selection while he continues to be a part of the succession process.

T.D. Jakes recently released a new book on forgiveness that has at least one critic accusing the renowned preacher of denying the doctrine of original sin.

An Ohio pastor involved in spreading awareness about child abuse in the U.S. said that the church should be "fearful of our own depravity."

Anglican 'Unity Covenant' Voted Down by Church of England

The Church of England has voted down a 'unity covenant' that was intended to help keep together the Anglican Communion, which is experiencing fierce divisions over theological differences amongst its member churches.

A Christian doctor was purportedly fired after emailing a prayer to his colleagues at Walsall Manor Hospital in western England, according to the Derby Telegraph.

Kuwaiti authorities arrested a man Tuesday for insulting the Prophet Muhammad via his Twitter account, based on a Sharia-based blasphemy law, which is highly regarded in the mostly Sunni Muslim country. The incident reportedly drew calls for the man's death.
